Windows 7 users can use this document to obtain a driver when basic drivers were not built into the Windows operating system (OS) or to upgrade from a basic print driver to enable more advanced features. This document applies to HP LaserJet 3050, 3052, 3055, 3390 and 3392 All-in-Ones only.

While these products do not have a Windows 7 full solution, you can run the HP product software created for the Windows Vista 32-bit operating system on a Windows 7 PC in compatibility mode to enable full product software functionality.

HP LaserJet 3050, 3052, 3055, 3390 and 3392 All-in-Ones are supported in the Windows 7 32-bit operating system (OS) only and are not supported in the 64-bit Windows 7 environment. If you are using the Windows 7 64-bit OS, use the driver included in the operating system to enable print/scan software functionality (print only when installed through a network) and then use the Scan and Fax feature in Windows or the product control panel to fax. Do NOT install a Universal Print Driver (UPD) because this option is print only and is not recommended for multifunction products (MFPs).
